clay vase

So I am working on non traditional vase shapes. I have been working so much on a particular series that I'm really bored of tall textured cylinders.

This one reminds me a bit of a beech nut.
My photo area is not set up right now, moving around my studio. Did my best with natural light.

Terracotta, multiple glazing.

and I can't find one non IRISH person to sit still.....

so I got it "close" with DAVE!

he's Black Irish.....maybe...

any way got tons of these sort of shots... but I like this one.....it's a test... but he looks good.

Family Portraits - Swapped Faces

Worked this as a poke to one of my friends recently and actually found it pretty bizarre and interesting to behold. Thinking of doing some more for folks to make a small collection. Click and view it large for better effect.
